Christmas Tree Decorating

We finally decorated our Christmas Tree, even though we got the the tree over a week ago! Ava slept the whole time, but Lily had a blast! She loved taking out all the ornaments and asking what they were- a few got broken because they looked a little too much like fun toys! Lily knows exactly which ornaments are hers and which ones are Ava's. One of her favorite things to do is to have someone pick her up to look at all the ornaments and point at each one. This little outfit Lily has on was passed down to us from Brooke and Paige- it's a size 6-9 months we thought we would try it on anyways because Lily thought it was sooo pretty, and it looked so cute!

Lily turns 2!!!

We had quite the day! Lily woke up and opened her presents, and all she could talk about was having cake for her Birthday! Ok- the next part sounds like we are bad parents, but it's just the way it worked out- Lily and Ava both had Dr. Appointments! They both were due for their immunizations and check ups. Lily was brave at the Dr, and so was Ava. We made it up to her though by taking her to one of her favorite places afterwards- the mall. She loves to ride the carousel, and we also took her to Build A Bear where she made "Treat". She picked it out all by herself! To celebrate that night, we had Gram and Pop over for dinner and cake- Gram and Pop got her a Big Girl Bed! She went to sleep in it the first night no problem, she loves it!

Twas the night before Lily's 2nd birthday, and some little Elves came out after she was in bed to decorate! They wanted to surprise her when she woke up in the morning!

New Years Weekend

We had quite the busy New Years! Adam stayed with us for a few days, and him and Lily bonded over watching the Wiggles. Grandpa came in for the Jets game, we had Daddy's birthday, and Sunday was my first day back to work after having Ava! The Jets game was on the 3rd, and that was also my first day back to work, so we celebrated Chris's birthday on the 2nd. Lily had a blast with the cake- as always!

New Years Eve

New Years Eve, Lily went for a sleep over at Gram and Pops, and we had some friends over. Our good friend Adam from Canada came down and spent the weekend with us, and also our good friend Alex. We had a bunch of friends over for some drinks and food, and had a really good time! Ava got to meet some of Mommy and Daddy's friends for the first time.
